Steven and Alex share how destiny brought them together post their military career to forge this partnership and investment in Grand Welcome, and this is one story that is worth hearing! Having initially invested in the Nashville, TN market, they have grown their portfolio over the past 2-½ years, including Austin, TX, and the Smokey Mountains.

Stationed together at Fort Campbell, Alexander Buchanan and Steven Brown visited Nashville often. Once they moved from Army life to civilian life, they decided, separately, to move here. From there, their story and business took off.

The International Franchise Association (IFA) today named Steven Brown of Grand Welcome Franchising LLC in Nashville, Tennessee and Austin, Texas as Franchisee of the Year. Brown was honored at IFA’s 62nd Annual Convention in San Diego, California, for being an outstanding franchise establishment owner-operator.

In 2022, Grand Welcome was named to Fran-Serve’s Fran-tastic 500 List, which recognizes outstanding franchise opportunities. It was also recognized as one of the top new and emerging franchises by Entrepreneur magazine. The International Franchise Association awarded Steven Brown, a Grand Welcome franchisee in Nashville and Austin, the Franchisee of the Year honor.
